As of January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to provide estimates for the cost of your care if we are not filing directly with your insurance company. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided as part of your client process. While it is difficult to predict the number of sessions you will ultimately need to reach your treatment goals, New Roots will strive to be as transparent as possible about your cost of treatment. An initial session (80 minutes) is $180. Follow-up sessions (50 minutes) are $120.
Payment for services is expected on the date of service.
There are two types of billing documents that will be available to you:
Invoice: An invoice documents the cost for a service. Invoices are used as a receipt for services rendered and paid. Invoices are delivered electronically and available on the client portal marked “paid” by the end of the day on the day of your appointment. You can request an invoice from us at any time.
Statement:Statements record previous sessions and payments and any current or outstanding amounts due. They also break down all services and spell out how a balance was determined. Statements are generated on a monthly basis and accessible via the client portal. Providing you have consented to receive email communications, you will receive notice when a new statement has been generated. Statements do not include Protected Health Information (PHI) or your diagnosis and are typically used to submit for Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or payment Health Savings Account (HSA) payment.
